AKFIX Multi-Purpose PU Foam 750ML is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane foam that expands to fill gaps, cavities, and joints. Upon application, the foam reacts with ambient humidity to form a lightweight, rigid, and durable material that adheres to most building substrates.

It is designed to provide both sealing and insulating functions, preventing air, dust, and moisture infiltration. Its controlled expansion ensures a secure fill without excessive overflow when applied correctly.

Material Quality, Durability and Environmental Performance

The foam exhibits excellent adhesion to wood, concrete, metal, masonry, and most common construction materials. Once cured, it provides thermal insulation, soundproofing, and structural support for light to medium load-bearing applications.

AKFIX Multi-Purpose PU Foam is resistant to moisture, mold, and shrinkage, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use under Kenyan climate conditions. Prolonged UV exposure may degrade the foam’s surface, so external applications should be covered or painted.

Installation, Handling and Compatibility

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles before application. Shake the canister thoroughly, attach the dispensing nozzle, and apply foam directly into gaps or cavities. It expands on contact with air and should be trimmed after curing to achieve a flush finish.

The foam is compatible with wood, concrete, metal, brick, and masonry surfaces. Protective gloves and eye protection are recommended during application. Allow 24 hours for full curing depending on joint size and environmental conditions.
