What This Product Is and How It Works
Asmaco Adhesive Spray 500ML is a solvent-based aerosol contact adhesive that bonds on contact when spray patterns on both surfaces briefly tack up. The pressurized spray delivers fine, uniform coverage, creating an instant-grab bond upon surface contact once tack is achieved on both substrates. The adhesive film forms a flexible bond suitable for many materials without running or dripping.
Material Quality, Durability and Environmental Performance
The adhesive formulation provides reliable adhesion under typical indoor and light-outdoor conditions in Kenya. Once cured, the bond resists shear forces and retains flexibility with minimal brittleness. The spray is designed for moderate resistance to humidity and temperature variation; however, prolonged UV exposure or heavy weather conditions may lessen bond performance. Use in well-ventilated areas to avoid inhalation of solvents.
Installation, Handling and Compatibility
Shake can thoroughly before use. Spray evenly onto both surfaces from 20–30 cm distance until a light, uniform coating is visible. Allow adhesive to become tacky (usually within 30–60 seconds), then bring both surfaces together and press firmly. For porous substrates, two light coats may improve performance.
Asmaco Adhesive Spray is compatible with fabrics, foams, rubber, wood, paper, cork, and lightweight boards. Avoid use on polyethylene, polypropylene, silicone, and other non-porous plastics unless tested. Protective gear (gloves, mask) is recommended; avoid open flames and ensure good ventilation during application.
