ASMACO DOUBLE SIDED TAPE 24MM × 20 YARDS is a double-coated adhesive tape engineered for direct surface bonding without mechanical fasteners. Both sides of the tape are coated with a strong, pressure-sensitive adhesive that forms a secure bond when pressed between two clean surfaces.
This tape works instantly upon firm contact, delivering a neat, hidden bond that avoids unsightly screw or nail heads. It is easy to cut to length and applies quickly for a range of mounting and joining tasks.
Material Quality, Durability and Environmental Performance
The tape features a polyethylene or PVC backing with uniformly applied adhesive on both sides. It is formulated to maintain adhesion under typical indoor and light outdoor conditions in Kenya. The adhesive resists shear and peel forces on smooth, non-porous substrates when applied to clean surfaces.
It is not intended for heavy structural loads, continuous moisture immersion, or extreme temperature environments. Performance may decline if exposed to prolonged UV or heat beyond normal indoor conditions.
Installation, Handling and Compatibility
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease before application. Cut the tape to the desired length, remove the release liner from one side, and press firmly onto the first surface. Peel off the second liner and press the mating surface onto the exposed adhesive.
ASMACO DOUBLE SIDED TAPE bonds well to glass, metal, plastics, painted surfaces, and paper/card stock. It is not suitable for rough, dusty, or porous materials without testing. Use a firm press or roller to ensure full contact.
