DEWALT 4.5″ 1200W 115mm Paddle Switch Small Angle Grinder DWE4212-B4

What This Product Is and How It Works

TheDEWALT 4.5 1200W 115mm  is a corded small angle grinder that uses a high-speed rotating disc to cut, grind, or polish metal, masonry, and other construction materials. Its 115 mm disc size makes it ideal for confined spaces or tasks requiring precision. The paddle (dead-man) switch ensures the tool stops immediately when released, enhancing safety during operation. The compact body and ergonomic design allow for controlled handling over extended periods.

Material Quality, Durability and Environmental Performance

This grinder is constructed with reinforced polymer housing and a metal gear case to withstand the high vibration and heat generated during heavy-duty use. The motor is designed with abrasion-protected windings to reduce wear, while the compact gearbox aids in heat dissipation. The tool performs reliably under typical Kenyan climate conditions, including high ambient temperatures and dusty construction sites. Disc guards and side handles provide added operational safety and durability.

Installation, Handling and Compatibility

The DWE4212‑B4 is ready for immediate use with minimal setup. Operators attach the appropriate 115 mm cutting or grinding disc using the included flange and spanner wrench. The side handle can be mounted on either side for right- or left-handed use. Compatible with standard M14-threaded discs, it can be used with DEWALT or other certified abrasive accessories. Users should wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye and hand protection, and follow safe handling practices for corded power tools.
