Easy Standard Thinner is a refined solvent formulated to reduce the viscosity of oil-based paints and coatings for smooth application. It ensures even flow during brushing, rolling, or spraying while helping to dissolve paint residues for thorough cleaning of painting tools.
The solvent evaporates efficiently, allowing paint films to dry evenly and minimizing streaks, ensuring a professional-quality finish.
H2 – Material Quality, Durability and Environmental Performance
This thinner is made from high-quality refined solvents to ensure consistent performance and minimal impurities. It performs reliably under typical Kenyan indoor and sheltered outdoor conditions.
While it facilitates paint application and cleaning, the solvent itself does not provide protective properties. Proper handling, ventilation, and disposal are recommended.
H2 – Installation, Handling and Compatibility
Easy Standard Thinner is applied by mixing with oil-based paints, varnishes, or enamels to achieve the desired consistency, or directly for cleaning tools. Follow paint manufacturer instructions for optimal results. Brushes and rollers should be soaked or wiped with the solvent after use and allowed to dry.
Protective gloves and eye protection are recommended during handling. The product is compatible with oil-based coatings, varnishes, and enamels, but should not be used with water-based or reactive coatings.
H2 – Typical Applications in Kenya
Easy Standard Thinner 5L is widely used in residential, commercial, and workshop painting projects. Contractors and painters use it on furniture, doors, woodwork, and metal fixtures. Workshops use it to clean and maintain painting tools, while homeowners rely on it for DIY projects and touch-ups.
It pairs effectively with other oil-based paints and related products available in the Shop at Ngong Hills Merchants.
