Formulated with solvent-based technology, PATTEX PL150 is water-resistant once cured and delivers long-lasting adhesion under typical environmental conditions. The adhesive can withstand temperature variations between approximately -20°C and +80°C after curing, making it suitable for interior and exterior use across Kenyan climates.
Installation, Handling and Compatibility
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. Cut the cartridge tip, attach the nozzle, and apply the adhesive with a standard caulking gun. Spread adhesive in waves or lines depending on surface profile, then press the materials together firmly. One surface should be slightly absorbent where possible to ensure a secure bond. Curing develops over 48 hours for full strength, with initial handling strength in minutes.
PATTEX PL150 bonds effectively to bricks, concrete, ceramics, stone, wood, metals, rigid PVC, and more. Avoid use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PPTE), acrylic glass, and surfaces in continuous contact with moisture without testing.
