Akfix 1100E is a ready-to-use silicone sealant that cures by reacting with moisture in the air to form a durable elastic rubber. Once applied, it skins over quickly and continues curing to create a watertight seal. The acetoxy curing system provides strong adhesion to smooth, non-porous substrates without the need for a primer in most standard applications.
This product is supplied in a cartridge format suitable for use with standard manual or pneumatic caulking guns, allowing controlled and precise application along joints and seams.
Material Quality, Durability and Environmental Performance
The cured silicone remains flexible over time, accommodating joint movement without cracking or shrinking. It offers good resistance to moisture and household chemicals, making it suitable for wet-area applications such as bathrooms and kitchens.
